Hello and welcome to my web journal. I'm a 20-something year old woman, currently in transition in my life. I have two furry companions, Dusty and Nala, and a fish named Jigsaw. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies include volunteering in the community, website design, blogging/reading blogs, computer gaming, listening to music, Star Wars related activities, reading books, creative writing, and spending time with friends.
This blog is a collection of serious and random thoughts...on my life, books, politics, health, etc.
While I hold to the basic tenements of anti-abortion beliefs, my feelings surrounding the issue are complex and my reasons for opposing abortion are based on ethical and medical reasons. I oppose violence towards abortion providers, clinic protests, and the use of graphic images. Rather than favoring illegalization, I believe in prevention through contraception and contributing towards creating a society that is supportive of pregnant and parenting women. I’m motivated to acknowledge a woman’s feelings - whatever they may be - after her abortion. We need to make society truly supportive of women and only then will women have any meaningful freedom of choice.
I advocate for the rights of those with developmental disabilities and for those with mental illnesses

Mental Illness Awareness

Suicide Prevention Awareness
